    On Thursday, April 8, the Asharqia Chamber and Dammam Medical Complex signed an agreement supporting the equipping of a special center and coordination to vaccinate employees of the hospitality and entertainment sector in the region with the Covid-19 vaccine, targeting about 20 thousand workers affiliated with the activities of restaurants, cafes, and hotels in the eastern region.

    The agreement was signed by the Asharqia Chamber, Vice-Chairman of its Board of Directors and Chairman of the Hospitality and Entertainment Committee, Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Buali, and from Dammam Medical Complex, Dr. Muhammad bin Dhafer Al-Ahmari, Chief Operating Officer of Dammam Health Network, one of the components of the Eastern Health Cluster.

    Al-Buali said that the agreement coincides with the state's relentless efforts to prepare the atmosphere for the return of normal life, pointing out that vaccinating about 20 thousand workers from the hospitality and entertainment activities in the Eastern Region against the Coronavirus supports the revitalization and growth of the sector and provides a great deal of health safety for the residents and visitors of the region, especially with The holiday season is approaching and involves interaction with the great efforts made by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in this regard. It also accompanies the efforts of the Ministry of Health to include the Covid 19 vaccination campaign for all employees of the vital sectors.     Al-Buali explained that the agreement included cooperation between the Chamber and the Complex in providing a special center to vaccinate employees of the hospitality and entertainment sector in the region against the Coronavirus, and it also included providing support to the centers of the Dammam Health Network in the Eastern Province.
    Al-Buali expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Dammam Medical Complex, which is one of the pillars of the health services network in Dammam and Al-Khobar affiliated to the Health Cluster in the Eastern Province, for its great efforts and its pioneering role in the development of health services in general.​
    For his part, Al-Ahmari said that the Asharqia Chamber is one of the pillars of development and prosperity for the people of the region, and is distinguished by great history in the areas of community service, and that the agreement is an embodiment of the values of community partnership and anchoring the concepts of constructive cooperation between the private sector, represented by the Asharqia Chamber and the Dammam Medical Complex, and that it will It allows for wider areas of cooperation between the two parties, such as the field of health volunteering and participation in health activities and events, in a way that supports the goals of the vision towards promoting community work and a culture of social responsibility.
